Gegharot waterfall:    Trek through the untouched beauty of Mount Aragats to reach Gegharot Waterfall—one of Armenia’s highest, cascading 17 meters at 3,000 m elevation. This hike is moderately difficult, winding through alpine meadows and volcanic landscapes. In summer, the waterfall flows freely; in winter, it freezes into a stunning ice sculpture. Best hiked from June to September, it’s a rewarding adventure for those seeking solitude and dramatic highland views. There are two main ways to reach Gegharot Waterfall:
1. Hiking from Aragats Village: A 22–24 km round trip, taking 9–10 hours. Moderate to challenging terrain for full-day hiking enthusiasts.
2. Jeep/4x4 + Short Hike: Drive 11 km on rough terrain, followed by a 500-meter easy hike. Faster and less strenuous, great for limited time or easier access.
