the highest mountain in Armenia, reaching 4,090 meters (13,419 ft) at its northern summit. It’s an extinct volcano with four distinct peaks:

North Summit (4,090 m) – the highest and most challenging,

West Summit (3,995 m),

East Summit (3,908 m),

          South Summit (3,888 m) – the most accessible for beginner hikers.

The mountain offers a variety of hiking routes, with the Kari Lake (3,200 m) trailhead being the most popular starting point. Trekkers are rewarded with panoramic crater views, alpine meadows, and dramatic volcanic landscapes. The best time to hike Aragats is July to September, when trails are mostly snow-free.
